Our Plants

WELCOME! We are a small family owned business located in North Carolina. Combined, we have over 40 years experience raising violets. Our starter plants range in pot sizes from 2-4". Most varieties are grown in a 2.5" plastic pot. Our violets are starter plants that are a manageable size for shipping, and are young so they adjust to your growing conditions as they grow. With adequate care, most varieties will be blooming within a few weeks of arrival.

I ordered in the middle of the winter and they were happy to accommodate the weather conditions and ship with heat. My plants arrived in amazing condition, never stressed and are doing awesome. I can not wait for them to bloom.

I won a trio box of AV’s from Appalachian Violets in late February. Excellent packing and shipping! Communication was stellar! This was my first time getting plants shipped this early in the season. I was concerned it would be too cold, but they added a heat pack and we watched the weather. All three arrived in wonderful condition! Highly recommend them for quality plants and excellent communication and shipping!
